What Klook is
Klook is an activities and travel-services platform founded in Hong Kong in 2014. It grew on the Asian outbound market — attraction tickets in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Southeast Asia — and then expanded into Europe, where its catalogue is sourced from local operators and ticket consolidators. The app is the product: bookings, vouchers, eSIM activation, KlookCash credit and reviews all live there, and it is available in about 14 languages.
In Rome the inventory covers the mainstream: Colosseum and Vatican tickets and tours, hop-on hop-off buses, Borghese Gallery, Pompeii day trips, airport transfers, Italian eSIMs and some guided tours run in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and Korean.
How it works for Rome
Search “Rome”, filter by category and pick a date and slot. Listings distinguish “instant confirmation” from products that confirm within 24–48 hours; the confirmation email arrives within 5 minutes for the former. Pay by card, wallet or regional method, and apply KlookCash at checkout under “Discount” once you hold at least 10 credits. Vouchers show in the app as QR codes.
KlookCash is earned on bookings and on reviews: 20 credits for a written review of 100 characters or more, 30 with three or more photos, capped at the first ten reviews a month. Credits cannot be used on passes, gift cards, insurance or selected events.

Klook shows prices in your account currency by default; switch to euros to compare. Its promotions and KlookCash can bring an effective price below the Rome hub on GetYourGuide or Rome attractions on Tiqets on a given day, but list prices are rarely lower.
Cancellation and refunds
Each Rome product states its own policy: free cancellation before a deadline (commonly 24 hours, sometimes longer), a partial refund inside a window, or non-refundable. Timed entry tickets are often in the last group. Bookings still awaiting supplier confirmation can usually be cancelled free. Cancel from the booking in the app; refunds go to the original payment method within a few business days, or as KlookCash if you accept credit.
If the supplier cancels or the venue closes, Klook refunds in full or offers a new date. Read the redemption notes: some suppliers require you to exchange the voucher at an office before entry, which is not obvious from the title.

Book instant-confirmation products only when time is short, compare euro prices, and treat Klook in Rome as a convenience for its core audience rather than a first stop.
